United Way of Northern New Jersey

FRFCU staff members proudly volunteered to assist United Way of Northern New Jersey with their Tools for School program, helping assemble backpacks filled with school supplies for children in need. Together, we’re making sure students start the 2025 school year ready to learn and succeed!

America’s Grow-a-Row

Our team proudly joined America’s Grow-a-Row at their farm to volunteer in their vegetable fields! It was an incredible experience working side by side, dividing up tasks and coming together as one team to make a real impact. In just a few short hours, we were able to harvest 7,800 pounds of fresh produce, over 31,000 servings, for individuals and families in need. We’re proud to support such an important cause and grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community in a meaningful way!

Safe + Sound Somerset

Team FRFCU volunteered at Safe+Sound Somerset, helping to prepare for their Volunteer Appreciation Event tonight! Safe+Sound provides critical support to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence, offering compassionate, professional assistance when it’s needed most. Their incredible volunteers are the heart of their mission, staffing their 24/7 hotline and so much more. We’re honored to support an organization making such a meaningful impact in our community!

Additionally, a group of Financial Resources FCU team members volunteered with our friends at Safe+Sound Somerset to help organize and set up a brand-new storage space for their educational materials. With over 7,500 people participating in their education and training programs in 2024, this improved setup will help their staff prepare more efficiently for events and outreach. We’re honored to play a small part in the big impact they make every day!

Moms Helping Moms Foundation

Team FRFCU spent time volunteering with Moms Helping Moms Foundation, a local non-profit dedicated to providing under served families in New Jersey with the essentials they need for a safe and healthy start. From organizing donations to packing baby essentials, we were honored to support their incredible mission. A huge thank you to Moms Helping Moms for the opportunity to make a difference—together, we’re building stronger communities, one family at a time!

St. Joseph Social Service Center

On January 28, 2025, Team FRFCU had the privilege of volunteering at St. Joseph Social Service Center, helping with food distribution to support our neighbors in need. Whether inside or outside, our employees showed up with positive energy, warm smiles, and a commitment to making an impact. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and support St. Joseph Service Center’s incredible mission of providing assistance and essential programs with dignity.

Additionally, on September 23, 2025, our FRFCU team had the privilege of volunteering at St. Joseph Social Service Center again to help distribute fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, pasta, and proteins to more than 200 neighbors in need. It was incredible to see the impact of local initiatives like America’s Grow a Row, where we also recently volunteered, and to share the very vegetables we helped harvest.
